☀️ On May 1st join Éanna Nì Lamhna for an opportunity to walk through Altamont Gardens for their annual dawn chorus. You can hear the beautiful birdsong from 4.30 a.m. with Eanna providing a great overview of the variety of birds and surrounding nature.
Immerse yourself in the early morning magic and let the dawn chorus awaken your senses to the wonders of the natural world. This is not just an event; it’s a celebration of nature’s awakening in a truly beautiful setting. Explore the varied landscapes of this 40-acre estate – from formal and informal gardens to wild and wooded areas, each offering a unique backdrop to the morning’s chorus.
This event is suitable for all ages and provides a unique educational experience for both children and adults.

Come and join the Ballon Rambling House in the Ballon GAA Centre this April!
Starting on April 28th 2024, 7.30pm to 11pm, the event will run on the last Sunday of each month thereafter. Hosted by Siopa Glas Ballon, this monthly event is perfect for storytellers, musicians, and listeners alike.
Refreshments and a raffle will take place during each monthly event.
