The Columban Way held its AGM recently in the headquarters of the Columban Fathers in Dalgan Park, Navan, County Meath with Margaret Moore from Carlow County Council and Eileen O’ Rourke from Carlow Tourism in attendance.

The Columban Way represents Carlow’s newest long-distance walking route. The walk starts at Mount Leinster on the Blackstairs Mountains with two feeder routes from St Mullins and Bunclody. Over 50km in County Carlow, the Columban Way invites walkers to discover nature, reflection and invigoration. Take a look at the video attached to find out more about the route.

🎶Tap your feet and clap your hands to the enhancing sounds of fiddles, bodhráns, tin whistles and many more instruments as local talented musicians come together in the beautiful Altamont Gardens to celebrate our natural and cultural heritage. Traditional session takes place in the new orchard at the rear of Altamont Plant Sales in the Walled Gardens. Wednesday, 15th May 2024 at 2 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to join and immerse themselves in a musical afternoon!
